But You Don’t Look Sick (NEW!)

The Spoon Theory is the easiest way I’ve heard of for someone with a chronic illness, such as Lupus or Chronic Fatigue, to explain what it’s like living with constant pain. This would be a great article to give copies of to friends and family who don’t quite “get” your illness.

  3. Reading this makes my heart swell with pride. I’m the admin on butyoudontlooksick.coms Message Boards, and to see that Christine has impacted so many peoples lives brings tears to my eyes every time. The Theory was about her explaining to her best friend how it feels, but we can relate to it so well!

The best place in the world to be is on the message boards.. http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/boards you will find so much love, support and advice, and we are all brought together by one common denominator.

  4. I didn’t know about this message board; thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I’ve had lots of people tell me how helpful this spoon theory was–and it’s really helped me as well (I have Chronic Fatigue.)
